What makes Pure Invoices different from other tools?

Is Pure Invoices really free?
Yes. Our core plan is free forever and includes everything you need to create, send, and manage invoices. We make money through our optional "Pro" tier for power users who need advanced automation and higher limits, not by selling your data.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Pure Invoices is a web-based application that works perfectly in your browser on both desktop and mobile. You can manage your business from anywhere without downloading software.
Invoicing & Features
Can I customize my invoices?
Absolutely. You can upload your business logo, set your brand color, and configure default terms and notes. Your invoices will look professional and on-brand every time.
Can I generate PDF invoices?
Yes. While our "Magic Links" are the fastest way to share invoices, you can easily print any invoice to PDF directly from your browser if your client requires a hard copy.
Do you support taxes and discounts?
Yes. You can add tax rates (like VAT or Sales Tax) and discounts (percentage or fixed amount) to any invoice. You can also set default tax settings to save time.
Does Pure Invoices support multiple currencies?
Yes. We support invoicing in all major global currencies. You can set a default currency for your account or change it on a per-invoice basis.
Payments & Fees
Does Pure Invoices charge a transaction fee?
No. We charge 0% fees on your invoices. Unlike other platforms that take a 3% cut, we simply connect your clients to your own payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, etc.). You keep 100% of what you earn.
How do my clients pay me?
When you create an invoice, you can attach your existing payment links (like your Venmo handle or PayPal.me link). Your clients will see a "Pay Now" button that opens their preferred app to send you money directly.
Can I accept credit cards?
If you use a payment service that supports credit cards (like PayPal or a Stripe Payment Link), you can add that link to your invoice. We simply facilitate the connection.
Privacy & Security
Are my invoices public?
Only people with the specific "Magic Link" can view an invoice. These links are cryptographically secure and unguessable. We also instruct search engines (like Google) not to index these pages, keeping your financial data private.
Who owns my data?
You do. We store your data securely to provide the service, but we do not sell it to third parties or use your client list for marketing. You can export or delete your data at any time.
