A guide to the client's experience when receiving a Pure Invoices link.
One of the most common questions we get from pros is: “Will my client know how to use this?”
The answer is yes. We designed the client view to be incredibly simple, professional, and mobile-friendly. Your clients don’t need to download an app or create an account to view or pay their invoice.
The “Secure Link” Experience
When you send an invoice, your client receives a unique, secure link. When they click it, they see a clean, branded page that includes:
- Your Logo & Branding: Immediately builds trust.
- Invoice Details: A clear breakdown of services, rates, and the total.
- PDF Download: A one-tap button to save a copy for their records.
- Payment Buttons: Big, clear buttons for Venmo, PayPal, or whatever methods you’ve enabled.

Frequently Asked Questions (For Your Clients)
If a client has questions, here are the simple answers you can give them:
“Do I need to create an account?”
No. Clients never need an account. They just click the link, view the document, and take action (pay or accept).
”How do I accept an estimate?”
When viewing an estimate, your client will see a prominent “Accept Estimate” button. Once they click it, you’ll be notified instantly, and they’ll see a confirmation message.
”Can I pay on my phone?”
Yes. All public views are “mobile-first,” meaning they look and work perfectly on any smartphone or tablet.
”How do I get a receipt?”
As soon as you mark the invoice as Paid in your dashboard, the client’s link automatically updates to show a “PAID” status. They can then download the updated PDF as their final receipt.
”Is my data secure?”
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption, and because we use “Secure Links,” their invoice isn’t just floating around in an unencrypted email attachment.
Pro Tip: If a client is ever confused, tell them to “Just tap the green button at the top.” We’ve designed the most important actions to be impossible to miss!
